Naked Men's Yoga In Cape Town Join us again this Sunday, 3 May 2015, for another session of Cape Men's Yoga. This is a nude men's yoga and meditation practice offered for the betterment of society and for the growth of personal happiness. Our energy gets absorbed into so many things in life: work, relationships, our emotions, sucked up in technology, often wasted in our anxiety and confusion. The ancient Indian practice of yoga is a method to harness our inherent energy and learn to work with it for our wellbeing. It brings improved health, improved mental skills, reduces stress and creates the foundation for a new path in our lives. We welcome you onto the mat and to be part of our journey. Duncan will be teaching another of his beautiful Mysore Hatha flow classes this week. Duncan has spent another month in India on an advanced teacher training course. The class is fine for beginners or experienced yogis. You don't have 'believe' anything in partic

Cape Men's Yoga & Meditation - Mysore Hatha Yoga Flow Class - 26 April 2015

Duncan has just returned from his advanced teacher training course in Mysore, India. This week he will be offering up a feast of yoga teaching.  This week we will be following a Hatha Flow class This is more dynamic, using a vinyasa sequence in between each asana. Complete beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome to these classes.  We follow the eight limbs of yoga, particularly as it relates to Patanjali’s Sutras. Patanjali was a great yoga teacher who collected up the essence of yoga teaching in a collected set of sutras or short chapters. This means that asana (postures) are just one of eight tools to lead us to internal bliss. Asana - the yoga movement - together with breath, helps us to relax the mind and become better focused for meditation. Yoga helps us to become calmer and more compassionate people.  All you need is an open mind and open heart. Bring a mat, towel and water bo

We invite you to challenge yourself with a flowing, energetic yoga nude yoga practice this coming Sunday. Cape Men's Yoga is in its third year. It is an all male space where we build a community of yoga and meditation practice. We strip off to be in touch with our physical body and to be honesty about who we are. We welcome beginners, intermediate and advanced practitioners. Whether you are looking for some yoga sport or to develop a greater awareness of yourself, to still the mind or open the heart - you are most welcome to be part of our community. It is a two hour naked men's yoga practice. We recommend you bring your own mat but we do have spare mats. If you have any injuries or health issues, plea
