Cape Men's Yoga & Meditation - special yin yoga class Sunday 8 May 2016

 This week we have a special yin yoga class at our regular venue in the Cape Town southern suburbs. Join us for this slow and meditative style of yoga. It is good for beginners and advanced practitioners. 

Yin uses traditional yoga poses but without muscular exertion. They rely on the pull of gravity, you stretch into them and hold them for five minutes or more. This can be quite intense, challenging to the quiet mind. 

We spend so much time rushing around. Busy with emails, text messages, whatsapp, smartphone applications. Life seems to be a conspiracy to speed up things and keep our minds jumping like wild monkeys. Nature is slow, it unfolds over time. Our ability to watch, perceive, concentrate and still the mind is the heart of yoga. 
Cape Men's Yoga is a community yoga practice. It is there for you to grow as a human being, to know yourself better and to find stillness and wellbeing in your life. 
This week's teacher is trained in meditation and has become a regular teacher of yin in our yoga school. 
Join us this week, Sunday 8 May at 10.30 for a two hour class of naked men's yoga and meditation.

We have extra mats for visitors. There are showers at the venue if required. Payment is by voluntary donation.
