That's a wrap - we have finished our practice at the current venue

Dear Yoga brothers, As we alerted you all that we need to move venue on 1 February. The college where we have practiced for two years is undergoing some spatial changes and we were given notice last month. Today, 24 January 2016 was our last class - a flowing and meditative yoga class drawing on traditional yoga and Buddhist teachings about the four immeasurables of loving kindness, sympathetic joy, compassion and equanimity. We hope you have enjoyed practicing with us! We are keen to move to a new venue but thus far none of our leads have worked. We are still investigating options in Gardens, Obs and Greenpoint. If you have any contacts for spaces available on Sunday mornings in Cape Town, please let us know. Next week, we are away at our 6-monthly retreat in the Overberg. 24 wonderful men including 5 of our qualified yoga and meditation instructors will be spending 4 days exploring mind, body, breath and nature in a most awesome setting. You are welcome to get in touch and w

Moving in February 2016!

We are moving! Cape Men's Yoga is in its fifth year of providing health and fellowship to the men of Cape Town. What a joy! We had a humble venue to start with in Hout Bay, and then moved to a luxury venue in central Cape Town. Now, at the end of January 2016, we will be moving to our third venue. Which one? We do not know yet! Perhaps you can help? We are looking for an affordable weekly rental that allows us the privacy of a naked practice, and reliability of access, ideally with some safe parking. If you have any suggestions, please email us. We will stay at our central Cape Town venue for classes on 10, 17 and 24 January 2016. There is no class on 31 January as we are on retreat in the Overberg. We should be ready with a new venue in February... so watch this space. Cape Men's Yoga is honoured to welcome LA-based, international yoga instructor, Raymond-Kym Suttle. He will be leading a CMY vinyasa class at our regular venue on Sunday 10 January 2016, at 10 am until noon. Raymond has been teaching yoga in Los Angeles and various cities around the world, including the Skyros Centre in Greece. He is out here on holiday and has graciously offered to teach a class. This is likely to be really popular so we ask you to register on Facebook or email us to confirm attendance. We'll cap the participation at 22 people. We are at our regular venue in central Cape Town. Sms, whatsapp or email for the details. This will be a powerful class so it helps to have some previous yoga experience. A great way to burst into the New Year. His web link is here: http://www.raymondkymsuttle.com/ You can contact us on: 082 579 6868 or capemensyoga AT gmail.com
